Established in 2014, IAG GBS provides sustainable transformation for all operating companies in the Group by creating and delivering innovative centralised solutions in finance, procurement, IT and digital services.

Its headquarters are based in Kraków (Poland) and everyone in the team is trained to identify and implement solutions and process improvements – streamlining, standardising and automating processes wherever possible.
What we do
With the establishment of a common finance and procurement system, Group Procurement has simplified the end-to-end supply chain.
We continually analyse and optimise the Group cost base, right-size the supply chain; support cash preservation; partner with suppliers who share our values and ways of working; manage supplier performance; and proactively monitor any potential supplier risks to mitigate emerging issues.
IAG GBS Finance Operations transforms and consolidates additional services from across the Group by driving synergies.
Streamlining new solutions through the optimisation and automation of processes; delivers best-in-class working capital management; and constantly reviews the insourcing/outsourcing strategy (make versus buy) to achieve the optimal mix of onshore, nearshore and offshore work.

IAG GBS manages interactions with suppliers on behalf of the Group and has a dedicated Procurement Sustainability Programme relating to the supply chain. There are four key streams:
Supplier Code of Conduct
IAG will only work with businesses which share our standards and ways of working and the Code clarifies the standards of behaviour expected from suppliers working with any part of the business and emphasises the importance of sustainability.
As a minimum, all suppliers undergo bi-annual screening for any legal, social, environmental and financial risks.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Audits
In-depth supplier audits are carried out as part of the Group’s commitment to CSR and are based on potential geographical and procurement category risk. They are performed by independent inspectors with CSR expertise using the SEDEX Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA) methodology.
Joint programmes to promote sustainability initiatives
Joint programmes are in place with key suppliers to drive sustainable innovation and identify new ways to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and waste. Programmes include the continued investment in developing Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and carbon removal technology, as well as initiatives to use environmentally friendly packaging in lounges and inflight products.
